As a oomer who got into radio in 1966, and veteran of several fairly large markets, I just wanna say that you have the best oldies station I've ever heard. You dont run the same songs into the ground...like if I hear anything from TOP GUN or any other 80s movie, it'll be too soon. Glad I discove Ver más ... red you a few weeks ago. I'm so tired of 'classic hits, 'greatest hits' all dance hall tempo music no matter the daypart! We're older now, slower now, and my view of oldies is the opposite of high rotation short playlists. Oldies are about SURPRISE, releasing listener endorphins to take them back, remind em of why they were with and where they were with a great song comes up we haven't heard in FOREVER. i listen and I can see my old friends lipsyncin while driving from the mid 60s!
