Update for WAVV 101.1 - WAVV

Returned to Sanibel 6 Mo ago. Don’t listen much any more. Bought a serious XM radio for easy relaxing music. You ruined a fine station with apparently new play list.. it’s all lead vocalist with a backup group, electronic instruments and, of course, boom boom boom constantly with an eventual merciful fade out, followed by another similar piece fading in. Please replace with classic artists like Sinatra, Como, Martin, Mathis, Streisand ,Carpenter, El Divo, Buble, Damone and the work of Johnny Mercer. You used to be the best.

I LOVED your Previous Format with songs by PERRY COMO, VIC DAMONE, etc. But now you've changed your format and it's made me very unhappy. Furthermore you've also introduced Loud, Annoying Car Commercials. I am very close to Turning Off your station and switching to NPR, National Public Radio. I just Cannot believe you actually Changed your Award Winning Format. I truly believe you will Regret it. You are certainly sure to to LOSE much of your Long Time Fan Base. I realize that I am Just ONE LIstener. But I assure you there are Thousands more Unhappy listeners ready to ... "Turn the dial" towards NPR. Trust me ... You made a big mistake when you changed your format. ...

WAVV has no online presence in the modern world except for a webpage that says how great they are... Too bad you can't hear how great they are online anywhere... This decision to cancel all online streaming was the least smartest thing I have ever seen a media company do.

Yes I too tried. I think there is something going on too. I too Am reporting this to the BBB. I think WAVV 101 might be doing something to miss lead the public. I could not get a refund. I had to call my bank and report it was a fraud.

Love love love this station. We stayed in SW Florida for 3 months and we were hooked on this station. Great casts and wonderful light music. Keep up the beautiful sound of real music. Thanks

Love this station when we are in Naples. Unfortunately I am no longer to listen online. Very frustrating.
