The contemporary stuff they're playing now is so much more welcome than the crap country/pop they played during the day for so long - which is all over the damn dial if you really must hear it... I'm so relieved the new guy finally made it a college radio station again.

Their all-day country and pop format was a NIGHTMARE. Our local up and coming music/radio-oriented talent shouldn't be limited to spinning such tripe - that's what other garbage stations are for and there are plenty of them.

find myself considering switching to The Choice any time I'm in the car, as opposed to the rare occasion Janice or The Good Show is on.
This really is a breath of fresh air for someone who has listened to 88.7 for 25 years, with countless new bands and cool personalities discovered.

Why did KTCU change its format to crap. The old Americana and variety was the best station in town. It is now unlistenable adn I have dumped it as well as anumber of friends I know. Terrible decision.
this college radio station my go to college radio station jams, man. How is it that a little ole' station from Texas could be so good, given the political/country/American nonsense that goes on in formerly northern Mexico?
