When I was a graduate student at Boston University in the 1980s, I'd often find myself up late, late at night - studying, working, crunching numbers - and I'd turn on WJIB so I would not feel quite so all alone. I loved the sound of the ship's bell, or maybe it was the bell of a buoy.

I have been searching for a station that plays the traditional "easy listening" music - especially at night. Thank you so much for this service. You have a big fan in Alabama!

I have great memories of listening to WJIB back in the 1970s as a teenager while using my telescope to view the night skies! I often had it playing for hours as I viewed numerous objects in the sky such as galaxies, planets, the moon and lots more. I was just editing my personal journal from way back and noted WJIB and immediately the memories came back so I decided to look it up on the web and sure enough, you still exist! How nice to still have a relaxing music station, something I don't have locally here in Pennsylvania. I grew up in Medfield as a teenager.
