I have been a CBC Radio 1 listener for over 50 years! I listen to CBC Radio 1 regularly and from all time zones. CBC R1 Vancouver is among the best for programing, informative and current information, probing interviews, and timely and entertaining music. CBC R1 Vancouver is my 'GoTo' station whenever I want to listen to the radio. The only (minor) irritant is their use of the term, 'Next', when describing upcoming programing. The event is almost always NOT next but follows after 30 to 60 seconds of CBC promotion rhetoric. Perhaps, the term 'shortly' might replace CBC Vancouver's over- and erroneous use of the term, 'Next'.
